I will be doing a variety of fund raising activities in 2019. This will include a 10km walk in March in Milton Keynes and supporting the jumble sale at Guides in Bedford. Additionally I plan to do bake offs for the local bridge club members.

I have been a young leader helping out with the Bedford brownies since summer 2018 and I continue to do so. I really enjoy this as I used to attend the same brownies group so it’s brilliant to help the next generation of members.

My target is so I can go on the international guide trip to Mexico in August 2019. This is an amazing opportunity and one I was delighted to be selected for after various assessment days.

The main focus of the trip will be to spend time at the international guide event held at our cabana which opened back in 1957 to celebrate the Baden Powell centennial.

I have been learning Spanish as part of my gcse’s So hopefully I will be able to say a few words when I get to Mexico.
