We support older people in Nottinghamshire to love their later life

Story

On the 17th of September 2022, Inner Wheel District 22 Chairman Elaine with the support of her husband, Pete, friend Sharon, Elaine's brother Roger Smith and his partner Polly Jarvis will complete one of the largest in Europe, Zip wire Challenges. They will take on two incredible Zip lines Bravo and Charlie in the backdrop of Snowdonia.

They are taking on this daring challenge in support of the District Chairmans Charity, Age UK Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Their aim is for money raised to be spent on local people and will help older people who are suffering from Social Isolation, especially since Covid.

Elaine would like to ask anyone who could support the team for this worthwhile cause. Monies raised will make a huge difference to the charity, who, like all charities have suffered with their fundraising income over the last few years due to Covid and the current rise in the cost of living.

Elaine will be extremely grateful to anyone who can support this, in what will be a terrifying experience for her.
