We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

It is estiated that around 3 million people in the UK have diabetes and that some 850,000 people may be unaware that they are living with diabetes.  Diabetes UK is the main charity which supports those with diabetes and their families.  It is involved with ground breaking research into the causes, prevention and treatment of diabetes.

One of our team (Eilidh) has lived with type 1 diabetes for 20 years and the rest of us all have family or friends who are affected by the condition. Eilidh has successfully risen to the various challenges presented by diabetes and she and the rest of our team would like to give something back to the charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We hope you will support our cause and thank you in advance for your generous donations ;)
