Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Eilidh is 4 and has spinal muscular atropy grade 2. We became involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign because of our fairy godmother, Wilma Stewart who is our Neuromuscular Care Advisor - she does a fantastic job supporting those with neuromuscular conditions in the west of Scotland and because of her we want to give back to this grass-roots organisation which is leading the fight against neuromuscular disease.
At last years's annual conference we were told a simple fact:
"If every family affected by muscular dystrophy or a related neuromuscular condition raised £29.24 this year we would meet the fundraising requirement set for Scotland’s contribution to fund our research work and support services."
WOW! Isn't that amazing - £29.24 can make a difference to someone's life. And this year for the Make Today Count, I am asking my family and friends to spread the word to see if we can raise much funds for this worthwhile cause.
So the question is: will you take up the £29.24 challenge and fundraise for the MDC - for Eilidh and others living with a neuromuscular disease?
