Story
WE DID IT !😀😄👏👏👏
Thank you to everyone that helped us raise such a marvellous amount for Julia's House . The weather was just perfect for cycling. Thank you to all the other cyclists who joined us for all or part of the route, the crew that were there when ever we needed them and all the staff from the practices that opened their doors and offered us refreshments and use of their facilities. Thank you to family and friends that came to cheer us on, we so much appreciated everyone of you.
Wow we have reached our target😊😍👏
Thank you so much to all of you that have donated.
Just next weekend to complete the challenge and hope and pray it goes well
Thank you to the lovely lady who stopped me as we were loading our bikes onto the car and gave me all the change from her purse, saying what a good cause Julia's House is, so very kind of her. Everyone is so generous.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
The company I work for are currently supporting this charity and so we have planned to cycle around all the 20 practices throughout Wiltshire and Gloucester.
We would love as many people as possible to support us by either sponsoring us or alternatively to join us for all or part of the ride, raising your own sponsors or paying to join us for a leg or two.
This will take part over two weekends
13th/14th July + 20th/21st July 2019
Brilliant progress so far as a number of people have signed up to join us for some or all of the event. Thank you
If there are any children that would be interested in taking part we are planning on using the cycle path from Coate Water to Marlborough on Sunday 14th July so please come and join for as little or as much as you can manage.
Day one is completed and we have all arrived safely at our destination. Eleven of us started out from Pewsey at 8 am and made our way to Wroughton with great enthusiasm. So much so we took the staff at Wroughton practice by surprise as we arrived much earlier than planned.
We pressed on to Wootton Bassett, Malmesbury, Tetbury and finally Cirencester where Sue Haine was there to greet us. Thank you to all the staff that welcomed us with cakes and refreshments and of course the use of their facilities..
Seven of our group decided to crack on and do the whole two days in one hit 100 miles amazing !!!!!
Thank you to all of those that continued and finally got back at 7pm you have helped us raise a huge amount
Meanwhile the remaining 4 pedallers plan to continue tomorrow on another 50 miles trec to complete day two.
