I'm doing this for a few different reasons, and tomorrow!!. I'm lucky, I am choosing to lose my hair, for now, some don't get a choice really. I have found so many people have been lovely, but Macmillan have fallen over backwards to help me. I am worrying less thanks to them. I'm also donating my hair to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer, using real hair. And, of course, I'm doing this for my Uncle John, Fr. John Thompson, a man I could never live up to. He worked until he was no longer able, spreading kindness, love and forgiveness throughout his life. There is always a light at the end of a tunnel, I'm shining mine brighter now, before I need to.
