Since the Sheffield Children's Hospital first opened nearly 150 years ago, it has been providing world class care to children from all over the region and sometimes to those coming from further away.  One of the ways that this has been possible has been by ensuring that the infrastructure of the hospital has not been reliant on loans and private companies.

The hospital's Emergency Department is long overdue a complete rebuild.  This is now due to start in the near future and will require a lot of public support to ensure that the children of our region can receive the best possible care in the future.

As well as continuing the Free Open Access Medical education via gppaedstips.blogspot.co.uk I will also be speaking at various medical events and hope that every now and then, someone will be so pleased with the free education that I provide, they will choose to donate to this page.
