Story
To put my love for cycling in perspective, I'm one of those people who refused to go on a date with a girl, because she doesn't cycle.
I've loved riding since I was a kid: for work; for transportation; and most of all for pleasure. For me, it's the only real choice of freedom of being able to do what you like, under your own power.
After riding with Daniel Ames on his charity ride from London to Cumbria, I wanted to do more, so when Giles mentioned Morocco, I didn't even need to think twice about joining him.
Since 60 miles a days on average isn't challenging enough, I have decided to up the ante and do it on a fixed wheel bicycle with one gear for the entire 2,800km journey to Casablanca, Morocco.
This includes riding through the formidable Pyrenees mountains.
I'm hoping to raise at least £7,500 for Wheels for Wellbeing.
