Story
Last year, I was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer. A ‘grade 3' 'Oligodendroglioma'.
It was only following a seizure, that I had a scan revealing a large tumour.
Following brain surgery, 34 rounds of radiotherapy and nearly 9 months of chemotherapy, I'm back trying to live as normal a life as possible, with regular scans to monitor the residual tumour and hope everything remains 'stable'.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Yet just 1% of the national research spend has been allocated to this devastating disease.
Due to this, myself, my sister Emma and brother Chris, will be running the London Marathon together in 2024, to raise money for Brain Tumour Research, helping them accelerate a cure and providing much needed funds.
Anything you can donate, will be hugely appreciated and will make a real difference.
Thank you
