Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Pubs are dangerous places especially when you set yourselves audacious challenges such as this. My good friend I are not as prepared as we have been for other challenges we have faced in life. That said neither was a family member when diagnosed with stage 3 cancer 2 months ago, whom we are now dedicating this challenge to.
Riding unsupported with nothing more than each others really poor chat and a box of ibuprofen to keep each other going, the challenge is as follows:-
Day 1 - London to Street, Somerset -125 miles (6000 metres of climbing hell)
Day 2 - Street - Grampound Road, Cornwall via Dartmoor - 150 miles (11000 metres of unadulterated climbing chaos)
Day 3 - Grampound Road - Lands End - 50 miles (3000 metres of ouchiness)
Anyone who knows us will understand that we are not built for climbing hills or cycling long distances or indeed best suited to wearing lycra! Wish us well and donate if you can, every little helps.
