Story

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this.

I have wanted to do a marathon for some time now so my friend Ben and I decided to go for it and train for the Nottingham Marathon in September. Competing in the race will be a huge personal test but I also hope I can use it as a way of helping others too.

I have only recently heard about the work of the Bren Project, and I couldn't think of a more worthy cause to try and contribute towards. The Bren Project helps people with learning disabilities and autism find work by developing their skills and experience, whilst working with them on a one-to-one basis to track their progress specifically. For me, this is a great way of helping people with learning disabilities gain confidence as it focusses on the individual person, especially as such support is not so readily available.

By running in the race, I aim to raise awareness for The Bren Project so more people are likely to get the support they need in the future, whilst all donations will go a long way to ensuring those receiving support continue to get the best possible guidance.

Any donations would be really appreciated, thank you very much!
