Story

CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL - for the children of Easterhouse Community.  Please help the children in Easterhouse receive a gift this Christmas.  Funding this project will put a smile on the faces of families facing hardship this Christmas.

The Salvation Army in Easterhouse supported hundreds of families at Christmas over the past few years.  With your help, we can achieve this again this year.

YOUR DONATIONS WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED AND USED WISELY.

Thank you!!!

Past donations have enabled new projects.

Thank you again to everyone who has given so generously towards our appeal.  The appreciation of the families supported so far has been overwhelming and we want to share with you that you have made such a difference to those who have faced some tough days recently.  People's wellbeing has been a great concern to us all and new projects have been set up to address this.  Many people have been supported through this.  Your continued support is much appreciated.

WHAT HAS BEEN ACHIEVED ALREADY - The outbreak of the coronavirus has quite literally changed everyone's lives and turned society upside down. The Salvation Army in Easterhouse is involved in supporting people, whenever required.  We are supporting our community with regular contact by phone calls and texts.  Help has also being provided with the supply and delivery of food parcels during the initial lockdown.  We sent small, practical gifts for people to receive, touch and work on.  This would gave opportunity for households to have something to look forward to receiving, helping them through some frustrations and for some, their loneliness.
