Story
The weekend of 26th April we will be collectively attempting to virtually climb the highest peak in the world Everest! 8848m (29,028ft). We are taking on this challenge from the ‘comfort’ of our own homes, using Zwift and stationary turbo trainers for our bicycles. The cycle will start at 5:00am on Alpe Du Zwift and will take an estimated 14 hours to complete with 8.5 ascents of the mountain.. (Details on how to join below).
As well as gaining some serious altitude, we will be raising money for Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS (SASH) which raises money to enhance patient care provided by Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS during this difficult time.
Money raised will support frontline healthcare staff working in Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill amid the Coronavirus outbreak.
