Story

I'm doing a sponsored abseil on 12th May! I'm going to be abseiling the 40ft tower at PGL Caythorpe Court for a whole hour! I'm aiming for 40 descents in the hour, which will include running up the stairs to get back to the top! It would be fab if you could sponsor me for this event, and advertise it to other people as well! Any sponsors over £10 can suggest something for me to do whilst abseiling - perhaps singing YMCA (with actions), or juggling on the way down... whatever you suggest, I'll attempt - as long as it's safe!

Here's why I'm doing it...

In September/October 2014, myself and 5 other (ridiculously excited) members of Girlguiding here in the UK will be travelling over to Latvia for three weeks to work alongside the Latvijas Skautu un Gaidu Centrala Organizacija (LSGCO, the Latvian Scout and Guide Central Orangization). While we're over there, we will be helping them develop their association - training trainers, recruiting members amongst other things.

If you've never heard or seen me ramble about Guiding, we've obviously not spent enough time together, and you don't live on facebook. It's been an important part of my life, and I've wanted to do a GOLD (Guiding Overseas Linked with Development) project for a long time. I'm excited to be heading to Latvia, so any help you can give to get me there will be much appreciated!

If you want to know more about the project, my fundraising efforts, or any of the past few guiding trips I've done, you can visit my blog HERE

Thank you!
