Dear Brothers and Sisters

We pray and hope that you are in the highest spirit of Imaan and health.

Alhamdulillah, we have completed the the Maryam Centre and opened it for prayers from 5th July 2013 as promised to our community.

Alhamdulillah, additional 500 brothers and 2000 sisters are praying in the new building during Jumu’ah and Taraweeh.  Insha’Allah, we are working to establish the social, educational and health projects and services for women and girls that we promised our community.

You may already know that we have completed the building by taking a huge amount of Qarde Hasanah. The total cost of Maryam Centre is £9.5m. We have not received any external funding for the Maryam Centre.Therefore, we have to continue with the fundraising from our community. Recently, the community responded very positively to our Ramadan appeal and the 5km Run 4 Your Mosque. This shows that the Muslim community trust us because we have kept our word and delivered as planned.

In order to achieve our goal to make this House of Allah debt free we need your continued support. Please encourage your friends and families to donate to the Maryam Centre. This year it might be more challenging because people are seeing that the Maryam Centre is complete.

• Alhambra Tile: £1500 Outer tile, £3,500 Centre Tile (we still have few tile left)

• Dawah Centre: £250

• Gift to the Masjid: £100
