ANGLESEY COASTAL PATH - SPONSORED WALK
As Chairman of the Isle of Anglesey County Council I
have chosen St. David’s Hospice as the charity that I wish to support in my year of office. Later this year St. David’s will be opening a four-bed
satellite unit at Ysbyty Penrhos Stanley, Holyhead which will provide
in-patient hospice care for residents of Anglesey. Further details of the
scheme can be found in the press release from St. David’s Hospice – see link below.

In order to raise funds for this exciting project I
have decided to undertake a sponsored walk along the 130-mile-long beautiful Anglesey Coastal Footpath. The walk will take place between the 15th.– 27th. April 2019 and I will be walking on average 11 miles per
day. I am very grateful to Eaton Electrical Ltd in Holyhead who have agreed to be the corporate sponsor for my walk.
In addition to walking the path I have also partnered with “Keep Wales Tidy” to arrange six beach cleans en route. This will form part of their “Spring Clean” campaign, see link for further information:
Full details of the walk and the beach cleans are outlined below.
It would be wonderful if you could support this most worthy cause by either making a donation via ‘Just Giving’ and/or joining me at a beach clean as we seek to preserve our precious environment here on Anglesey.
Thank-you.
