Story
Who's idea was a 1,200 kilometre, 11 day bike race along the main desert highway right through the centre of Oz?
While without doubt the hardest ride I have ever completed, Team Comfortably Numb (David Harris and myself) rolled across the finish line on Friday 13th October having peddled, push and carried our bikes across some of the most unforgiving roads either of us have ever seen.
Of the 40 starters only 15 finshed. David and I not only secured Top 10 placings, but also won the Team Category. Not bad for a pair of poms fast approaching 40!
