We provide care, education and therapy to children with brain injury.

Story

Duncan is raising money for The Children's Trust by seeking sponsorship to do a litter pick around Histon on Saturday 4th February. He's planning to collect at least five bags of litter.

In Autumn last year, Duncan's very good friend Hubert (6) was rushed to hospital with a huge bleed on his brain. After emergency neurosurgery, he spent many weeks in Addenbrookes, including Christmas, gradually regaining brain function and building strength until he was able to start to eat solid food again, and sit up with support. An absolutely extraordinary feat, showing the incredible strength of his young brain and body; the remarkable courage and resilience of his family and the skill and expertise of the medical, nursing and care team who have cared for him throughout.

Since 12th January, Hubert has embarked on an intensive course of rehabilitation at The Children's Trust, based in Tadworth, Surrey. He is following a full programme of activities that will help him to relearn so many fundamental things, like walking and talking. Hubert has been making fantastic progress, and it continues to be a long road.

The Children's Trust rehabilitation centre is one of a kind, and looks after many children and young people who have suffered brain injuries. Any donation that can be made to help this fantastic cause will be hugely appreciated.
