We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

Last November I found myself in The Stroke Unit of Leicester Royal Infirmary unable to move my right side and in a bit of a state. I made myself a promise that I would achieve 3 goals in my recovery.

They were:

1. To mosh at my 40th Birthday Party. (I did!! February 2013, a great night!)

2. That I would play golf to a scratch level again. ( I did! Shooting level par to win The Kibworth Open in July 2013.)

3. That I would get as fit as possible and run another marathon.

Its the last on the list and I've been training hard since September. I can now run 10 miles and am determined to complete The Brighton Marathon on April 6th raising as much money as possible for The Stroke Association.

Please give generously and help to reduce the impact of Strokes on so many people's lives.

I'm very lucky. Others are not.

Thanks

Duncan
