During a moment of madness (it can only be described that way as I was not drunk) I decided that a half marathon would not test me and I needed something more challenging. So I came across the New Forest Marathon and thought yes that will do (mad really isn't the right word, stupid or lunatic might be closer).

Well if I'm going to put my body through the stress and strain of 26,2 miles someone needs to benefit, and who better than the organisation that saves lives everyday true heroes, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. After all I will probably require medical help at the finish line myself.
