To keep the momentum going and to raise as much money as possible for ME Research, I will be doing several challenges myself where I dress up fancy for the whole day and plan to do this at least 22 times in different fancy dress outfits over the coming year, health permitting. You can take part in the challenge at any time, or join in one of my themed dress-up days! :)

My first challenge was to spend Harry Potter's birthday dressed as a Hufflepuff! I came up with the idea as people with ME can often find it a struggle just to dress and do basic things healthy people take for granted. I am just coming out of a severe patch and just wanting to make a difference as there is no real treatment for severe and moderate patients and very little support and no quality biomedical research in the UK. This illness can be devastating and severely debilitating and can affect children too. Please go and check out the IiME website to see the great work they are doing to change things.

My many outfits are from my life-long passion of science fiction and fantasy films and tv and when I was well enough to go to sci-fi conventions before I got too ill to attend and then as a fun Halloween surprise for when children come to the door for treats.  I wanted to put my many outfits to good use and for a worthy cause and dress up for all those that now struggle to dress themselves and raise awareness of those that are more severely affected and raise much needed funds for research.
