Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in memory of our friend and colleague Billy King who sadly passed away in December last year.

Billy was a loyal and hard working member of our IT Desktop Support team and helped many colleagues with their technology needs in the Willis Towers Watson London Lime street office for over 10 years.

A keen sports fan, he was an amateur golfer and very passionate about football especially his club Millwall FC which provided him with many a story and anecdote to share. We all enjoyed many humorous sport and life related chats with Billy both in and out of work and will always remember those times with great fondness.

Billy had been fighting a rare type of blood cancer for some time called Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinaemia (WM). From their site:  ' WMUK is the only charity in the UK focused solely on Waldenstoms Macroglobulinaemia....Our goal is to improve the quality of life and survival of people with WM by providing support, and ultimately finding a cure'.

Billy faced this challenge to his great credit with tremendous humility and determination. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and worked with him and one of the ways that we would like to honor and remember him is by supporting WMUK fundraising work. Every penny donated will help other people facing this wicked disease.

Thank you for helping us honor Billy, and for your kind donation.
