At the end of July we'll be doing the tough mudder event in Yorkshire to raise money. As most of you are aware we went through a horrific few months this time last year in which my dad had to go through open heart surgery. Complications happened during that time which meant my dads body was put through hell and there was a time when we didnt think he'd make it. It was one of the hardest times we've ever had to face as a family but thanks to the support of the hospital and the British heart foundation we pulled through together and now both dad and us as a family are stronger than ever. The work this charity does is incredible and I pray none of you ever have to go through what we did but if you do I have no doubt that this charity will provide the same care and support that they did for us. Me and Debbie want to do this as a reminder of a year since my dad beat all odds but also as a thank you to the charity.
