Story
We have created this page in memory of Doris Robson who passed away peacefully, after a short illness, at the age of 87 on December 12 2013. Doris joined the Board of Trustees of Dementia Concern in 1998 at the same time that she was caring for her husband, Bill, who suffered in the latter years of his life from Dementia. Doris subsequently served Dementia Concern without pause for the last 15 years of her life. She worked tirelessly throughout this time to support the community of older people in the Ealing area, and particularly those suffering from dementia or their carers. Doris was awarded an MBE for her work in 2006.
As a tribute to Doris, we invite you to make a donation to Dementia Concern, and continue her inspiring work supporting dementia sufferers and their carers.
