Sutton Carers Centre is a most worthwhile charity providing advice, information and support in a variety of ways to carers who live and work within the London Borough of Sutton. I became Treasurer and Trustee just over a year ago, and in that time I have been most impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the Centre’s staff, and the support from a range of volunteers.

Although the Centre has been highly successful in securing funding for its work, there is still a budget deficit for this financial year, which, as Treasurer, I am very keen to eliminate.

Along with other younger family members, I am taking part in the Croydon 10k run at Lloyd Park on October 21. It is very likely that, even with their help, my time will be somewhat slower than Mo Farah’s, nevertheless, I would really appreciate your financial support for my run.
