Story

Naomh & Donna along with 5 other teams are going embark on a social experiment with a difference, taking them on a journey from Malin Head to Mizen Head using nothing but their social media contacts.

The social experiment is a race between the teams over the course of a weekend from the most northerly point on the island of Ireland to the most southerly point.  The teams will set off on Friday 26th April 2013  from Malin Head in County Donegal aiming to make it to Athlone by nightfall and then on to Mizen Head in County Cork by Saturday night.

The teams will be equipped with a head cam to record their journey, a survival pack to include a change of clothes, water, energy gels and an iPad with charger.  The candidates will make use of their social media fans and followers to obtain additional food, free taxi rides and bus passes or whatever it may take to get to their final destination”.

The social experiment aims to raise funds for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.
