We lost my uncle to Motor Neurone Disease at the end of April this year. Watching him deteriorate so quickly and losing his independence to this evil disease was horrendous. The Motor Neurone Disease Association (Norwich and Waveney) were of such an amazing support  for both Noel and the family. I want to raise money to support research in finding a cure.

Yes, I've stolen the idea from a cancer charity, who are also very deserving of fundraising of course, but the MNDA are close to my heart. 

People will know I do like a drink whether it's a pint at the Uni bar, a bottle of wine shared with my aunt or a night out on the rum and shots with the girls. This is a sacrifice I'm willing to make to raise money and awareness. Not a drop of alcohol will touch my lips for the full 31 days in October!
