Earlier this year I came up with the crazy idea that I could easily run a 10k...............mmmmmmm doesn't sound that hard I hear you say but you're forgetting that I'm the kinda gal that's usually found with a cream cake in one hand and the remote control in the other..........also when I signed up September seemed ages away and now it's only just around the corner..............soooo please dig deep and give generously for a great cause..........

Money raised through the partnership will enable Save the Children to reach thousands of children living in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the UK through the Families and Schools Together programme. Here are a few examples of how the money you raise will make a difference:

·         £5 - Will buy a child a book; children that read at home have been shown to do better in school.

·         £10 - Can buy a family a set of educational children's toys. Play stimulates healthy brain growth in children, making learning easier.

·         £35 - Will buy 10 families a meal, shared during a FAST session. Research shows that children who sit down to family meals are more likely to behave better and communicate better as a family.
