Maddie Nicholls and Danny Green

Donna Adams is raising money for The Danny Green Fund
In memory of Maddie Nicholls
Our charity provides funding for physiotherapy, hydrotherapy or piece of equipment for children suffering from Posterior Fossa Syndrome as a result of a brain tumour. We also fund brain tumour research as without research there will be no cure for this devastating disease.

Story

After hearing the Danny Green Fund Ball has been cancelled again due to Covid I have decided to raise money with the help of Danny's mum Lisa. Sadly Danny passed away from a brain tumour in 2012 and the family now run the charity in his memory to help other children who are suffering from disabilities as the result of a brain tumour and a condition called Posterior Fossa Syndrome. The charity funds vital therapies to enable the children to become more independent. I can't run or walk very far so have decided to shave my hair off instead to raise money for this superb charity. It is very close to my heart and now I can explain why....What can I say...Maddie Nicholls, my first born, my only daughter, my soul mate and my hero. Maddie died of a brain stem glioma at the age of 14. She wanted us all at the age of seven to become organ donors after watching a programme on TV and we all did so, in the end saving five lives, her heart going to a young child. She had a passion for life and loved all animals. She was taken far too early. This is the reason that I am supporting The Danny Green Fund in memory of my beautiful Maddie and for Danny Green and all of the children who are suffering from a brain tumour xxxx
