On a few levels I have been lucky, playing rugby for a living was a dream and allowed me to have some unique experiences and make some great friends. Ric, myself and my dad are all looking to complete this amazing challenge to raise some vital funds!
Unfortunately, there are some who get seriously injured when playing, this is where the RFU Injured Players Foundations comes in. They provide immediate and lifelong support to rugby players who sustain a catastrophic spinal cord or traumatic brain injury and also fund research into the causes and outcomes of serious injury, identifying the best ways to prevent and treat it. Have a look at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUpoH3CJTrXLEToJ17iDBMw to see some real life examples of how your money will help.
