My name is Don Edmonston and i am the Offensive Line Coach for the GB lions American Football Team.

I have opened this page to try and help raise some of the funds needed for the GB Lions to compete in the upcoming European Championships held in Frankfurt this July.

The GB Lions have no sponsorship deal so all the players and staff have to pay their own way to attend the practice camps and championship finals.

As a player i was lucky enough to win a European Gold Medal with the GB Lions in Helsinki, Finland in 1991 and with your help the whole of Europe will hear the Lions roar again in Frankfurt.

The upcoming Eurpean Championships are a culmination of 4 years hard work for over 100 people involved with the team. 4 years, 5 international competitive games and more than 20 week long camps and it all comes to a head in July as the GB Lions compete against Finland, Sweden, France, Austria and hosts Germany for the 2010 European Championship.

Please donate whatever amount you are able to, no matter how small, as the longest journey starts with a single step.

Please note that because the page is set up through Edinburgh Wolves name it says that the money is for the Edinburgh Wolves, this is not the case all the money recieved via the Edinburgh Wolves will be passed directly to the GB Lions, Edinburgh Wolves recieve no money from this fund raiser.
