HI THERE!!

Before I graduate in the summer, I am going to the Philippines with my nun and 13 students from my Catholic Society in Southampton.....

Why?

The aim of the mission is to make an active contribution to some of the local communities in the Philippines by devoting our time, energy and effort into helping those who are most in need.

On the 19th June 2010, we will be flying to Manila, where we will be running a number of activities and projects in an orphanage and a school for the deaf.

 

Sooooooo fundraising....!

To pay for the trip and the resources we'd like to take out there, we are doing lots of things as a group, like a raffle, wet-sponge-throwing-at-our-faces and bag packing etc.

With individual fundraising... I am:

working lots and lots, washing cars etc, and selling wine in a field!

I am also..  going to do a 7km run!

The reason I am doing 7km instead of 10km is so that I can make up for the extra 3km by doing my run dressed as a smurf and painting myself blue. As a thank you to people who sponser me I will send you a thank you card with a photo of smurf Dom :)

If worst comes to worst I will do a sponsered silence for a day... but I'm CONVINCED no one wants to see that so lets make sure it doesn't happen!!
