Our 80 million specimens inspire innovative exhibitions and learning experiences. They also form the most scientifically important natural history collection in the world. Support our 300+ scientists to unlock this scientific treasure trove to answer the big issues facing humanity and the planet.

Story

On 29 July 2018 I'll be taking part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 bike ride. The route starts at the London Olympic Park and loops 100 miles out into the Surrey countryside (apparently there are some hills) and back into London for a finish line on The Mall.

I will be riding my trusty Condor in support of the Natural History Museum and aim to raise £500 to help the Museum inspire the next generation of nature lovers.

My early memories of visiting the museum and seeing dinosaurs, blue whales and giant crystals have stayed with me and now I am lucky enough to spend my working life in this awe-inspiring place. I believe the museums role of engaging us all and our children with the natural world is becoming increasingly important as the planet's wonder and diversity is in their hands.

If you would be kind enough to help me reach this aim by donating I would be very grateful.
