On completion of The Birmingham Bupa Half-Marathon may i take this opportunity to thank all of those people who have donated to the chosen cause.I must say that the run was one of the hardest things that i have ever done and i was proud to complete. My time was my only disappointment as it was 39 seconds over 2 hours which was my magic marker to beat.I put that down to the last three miles being predominantly uphill at which time my knees were causing me some discomfort.A big thankyou to all the organisers and helpers along the route who no matter how tired you felt kept inspiring you to keep going all the way to the finish line.A great sense of achievement!
