Story

Many of you have been outraged by the fact that 'Wing Commander Branse Burbridge', a highly decorated WW2 pilot, was reported in the national press as being forced to sell the medals he was awarded for his bravery, courage and sacrifice, in order to pay for his care home bills.

This is not the way that we should show our respect to anyone of our elders...especially a man of his stature.

However, in accordance with his family's wishes and demonstrating a true sense of altruism, they have refused any donations to assist them in preventing this travesty.

Therefore, we have set up this donations page, for those who wish to show their respect and gratitude to Wing Commander Branse Burbridge and his family, so that they may donate the money to helping other veterans and servicepeople of the Royal Air Forces.

We're sure you'll agree that, this is a truly worthy cause.
