Story
After a brutal summer in 2018, going in and out of hospital, multiple surgeries, and painful examinations, I finally got an explanation as to why I have been so ill over the last couple of years. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. This at last explained my 20kg weight loss, extreme fatigue, severe stomach cramps and endless visits to the loo. Throughout this dismal period I was supported tirelessly by so many great friends who all helped me through what was a very tough period of my life.
Crohn's Disease is a life long disease which affects the digestive system causing individuals to experience a wide range of different side effects. This has finally started to come under control with me with the use of multiple tablets daily and injections weekly along with consultations monthly.
I have organised for myself and a team of insane friends namely Tom Harman, Tasha Custis, Harry Chapples, Sophie Bell, Sam Fryer, Emily Powell, Harry Davies, Ellena Cowie, Libby Harman, Weazy Harman and Charlie Proctor to do a charity Skydive for Crohn's and Colitis to help raise awareness and help fund research to cure the disease. I cannot thank my friends enough for their support, let alone their commitment to jump out a plane at 10,000 feet for the cause with me!
We are asking for anyone happy and willing to donate any amount, no matter how small, towards this worthy cause to do so, as all donations will be most gratefully received! I am sure the video's of us doing it will make the donations seem worth while!!!
