Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Wednesday 30th May the boys managed to run a combined distance of 100 miles, a truly remarkable achievement. Originally the plan had been to use a treadmill, but this proved to be prohibitively expensive. As such we ran around the school grounds relying on google earth to measure the distance covered.

I had got in early as I anticipated having a large deficit to make up and wanted to get ahead of the game. However I should have had more faith as the boys completed the required miles by 11 am having started at 8: 30 am. I am extremely proud of them and, whilst they are nursing aches and pains, it is all too evident that they have benefitted from the experience. Needless to say gratuitous amounts of pizza were consumed afterwards! Thank you for all your support which has made this such a worthwhile exercise and in particular for your contributions to GOSH.

The boys took a vote as to which charity they wanted to support and a majority chose GOSH. I fully endorse their decision as I am all too aware of the amazing work they do.
