Story
Most of you on at least one occassion have called me crazy....now it is official!! For some time now I have been going on about how I want to do a sky dive for charity and have just not got off my arse and done something about it! So finally I have plucked up the courage and booked it up, no going back now!!
I will be hurling myself out of a plane at 10,000 ft in order to raise money for an amazing charity. I am doing the jump for The Children's Trust.
The Children's Trust, Tadworth provides care, education, therapy and rehabilitation to children with multiple disabilities, complex health needs and acquired brain injury
Services include the UK's largest paediatric brain injury rehabilitation centre, support in the community for children and young people with acquired brain injury (ABI), The School for Profound Education for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), short breaks, transitional, palliative and long-term nursing care.
The work that they do at the trust is truely amazing, I can vouch for that as a friend of mine's nephew spent his short life there. He unfortunately did not make it to his 1st birthday but the care and love he received at the trust was greatly appreciated by Alfie and his family.
So please find it in your hearts to support me by sponsoring me and I would love it if you can come and show some support on the day. I will be needing a few drinks after to calm myself down!!
Dionne
