We are taking on the famous '3 Peaks Challenge' which will see us climbing the three highest mountains in the UK all within 24 hours, which includes the +10hr of travel time of getting from peak to peak (gulp). We'll start at the bottom of Ben Nevis (Scotland), then head to Scafell Pike (England) and finish with Snowdon (Wales).
Some pretty scary numbers:
Distance 42 KMs / 23 Miles
Climbing 3,000m
Driving Distance 725 KMs / 450 miles
We're doing all of this for an incredible charity, Kidney Research UK, the leading kidney research charity here in the UK. Nothing is going to stop this brilliant charity in their urgent mission to end kidney disease.
Kidney disease affects more than three million people in the UK, and currently there is no cure. Only research will end this, so the work done by Kidney Research UK has never been more important and offers kidney patients and their families hope for the future.
They're taking on this disease, but can’t do it without all of us.
