So, most of you know that I have been putting a lot of time, effort and energy into training for this marathon, but to be honest this is nothing compared to what it is like living with the effects of Alzheimer's not only for the person who has it but also for the family and friends who love and look after them day in and day out.

My grandad was and still is my hero and it was heart breaking watching the man we loved so very very much change beyond recognition both physically and mentally.

I am raising money to help try to make a small difference in honour of Grandad Reg so if you would like to donate I would be very grateful,
