Story

On Tuesday 11 September 2012, my niece Emma took my talking meerkat, ‘Meery’ and my talking pedometer on a 10 mile walk on my treadmill at my house in Mossley Hill. I did not  talk for the whole 10 miles that they walked. The event was completed in 3 hours 55 minutes. The distance from my house to Victim Supports, Victim Care Unit in Bootle, is 10 miles, so it was like them walking to my work. Anyone who knows me well, will appreciate what a challenge this was for me to keep quiet! The Victim Care Unit where I work, provide support to Victims of crime in the North West. All donations will be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small. Thanks for your support. Diane, Emma and Meery. You can text the following code: MEER48 followed by the amount (£1,£2,£3,£4,£5 or £10) to this number: 70070 Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
