I am raising funds for this charity in order to fund research into Muscular Dystrophy as there is still no cure or treatment to stop the progression of this disease. 

My mother was diagnosed with this genetic disease some years ago and so I have seen at first hand what an effect it has had on her life, stopping her doing many of the things she once enjoyed and which most people would take for granted.
