Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In January, I hit the BIG 50 and I vowed to do something every month which stretched me for the whole of 2017.  I cannot remember the last time I rode a bike so I have signed up to cycle 50 miles on 2nd July in memory of my niece Claire Culbert.

When Claire lost her battle to melanoma in 2013, I made it my mission to do whatever I could to raise awareness and money for a charity close to her heart, Melanoma UK.

For those close to me, they know that this is a huge challenge for me to undertake so I am looking for everyones support over the coming months while I venture in to a 90 day training programme.  I have Claires brother, Mark with me as my 'wing man'.....we have become a bit of a double act over the years so I cannot thank him enough for supporting his crazy old aunty Di in my 50-50-50 Challenge.

Why 50-50-50?

1. I hit the BIG 50 in January   2. Cycling 50 miles   3. Always wear Factor 50 SPF

Watch out for regular updates as I guarantee there will be plenty of chuckles along the way.....I am still suffering from a sore @ss and I only did 10miles on Saturday #newsaddleordered LOL
