I'm running the 10k to raise funds for the Encephalitis Society. Encephalitis is an uncommon but serious condition that causes inflammation of the brain. This charity helps to support people suffering from this as well as providing helpful advice to family members.

One of our colleagues was struck with this and this is why I'm taking part.
