I am taking on the two-day challenge on Friday 28 June of cycling 195-miles from London to Brussels to raise money for the charity, SportsAid.
SportsAid provide financial support, recognition and personal development opportunities to the next generation of British athletes during the early stages of their career.
All of the money raised from this event, RBC Ride for the Kids, will go towards funding a series of athlete workshops across the UK for SportsAid athletes who do not get the opportunity to attend any SportsAid events. These workshops will support the athletes with media training, nutrition advice and mentoring to ensure that they can be the best athlete they can be.
RBC Capital Markets and Wealth Management have been partners of SportsAid since 2014 and every year RBC support 50 up-and-coming, young British disabled and non-disabled athletes. You can find out more about the partnership by visiting http://www.sportsaid.org.uk/about/partners-and-donors/royal-bank-of-canada/.
