Story
I'm climbing Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and the biggest free-standing peak in the world, for Marie Curie Cancer Care in June.
Some of you might know that my lovely Mum is being treated right now and that is an even greater incentive for me to reach the summit.
I'm part of a Football League team that includes Chris Kamara from Sky Sports, ex-Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd, Swansea City boss Brendan Rogers and Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson. The Football League hope to raise half a million pounds for the charity. My target from the organisers is £3,750.00, but £5,000 would pay for 250 hours of treatment by cancer nurses.
Rest assured you're not paying for my trip. I'm covering that. All the cash raised goes to the charity. So I hope you can help and any amount will be gratefully received.
