Story
I'm running the Bupa London 10,000 on 30 May 2011 to raise money for Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG). And it's also a personal challenge after having two ops on my heart in the last year.
CPAG fight the cause of families living in poverty in the UK. CPAG are committed to eradicating child poverty and lifting families out of the poverty trap. CPAG do this through research and campaigns; lobbying government to legislate to help those in poverty; providing expert knowledge and advice to help families maximise their income.
£18 BILLION cuts in welfare have been announced and it will hit those already living below the poverty line with young families the hardest. CPAG's work is more important than ever.
Please, please, please sponsor me on this run and help fund their valuable work.
