Story
Rambo was involved in a road traffic accident and needed surgery to remove one of his eyes, and to wire his jaw as it was broken and he couldn't eat. He is currently under the care of our vets after having his operation and is on the road to recovery. Any funds received will go to help Rambo and other cats and kittens in our care.
Update: 8th May - His progress is slow but steady. He has had his eye removed and his jaw wired, and is currently being fed through a nasal tube as he is finding it too sore to eat. The vets feel at the minute he cannot see through his remaining eye and are unsure at the minute whether the sight will come back completely as he has had quite a knock to the head!! He is in very good spirits and came straight to the front of the pen for a fuss. Thank you to those of you that have already donated.
Update: 11th May - Our vets are very pleased with his progress and he seems much brighter in himself. He likes having his tummy rubbed and enjoys a fuss. The vets are still feeding him through a tube and we do not have an update yet on the sight through his remaining eye.
Update: 21st May - Rambo has now been moved from the care of Blenheim Veterinary Centre to Long Lane. He is now eating on his own and enjoying lots of TLC & cuddles. We are not sure what the final prognosis will be regarding sight in his remaining eye but at the moment we feel he can see shadows which may never improve.
Update: 30th May - Rambo is still under observation by the vet but he is getting and looking much better every day. He is the most delightful cat who loves his fuss and cuddles.
