Hi guys, my name is Denise and I will be running the Manchester Bupa 10k Run this year for a very, very good cause

Last year I ran for landmine charity MAG and, with your help, raised £250. This time however, I will be donating all of the money you kindly pledge to the British Heart Foundation in honour of my brilliant uncle Dave.

I'm also adding a twist to make things interesting - last year I ran the 10k in 1 hour 2 minutes, but this time I'm aiming to cross the finish line in under an hour.

So, please dig deep in honor of the legendary man himself, who always had a laugh and a sparkle in his eye and made an impression on everyone he met.
