Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may be aware my niece Lauren suffers from a genetic condition called Neurofibromatosis, this means that she has lots of medical concerns including some tumors (although hers are thankfully not cancerous). As a way of saying thank you to the Neurofibromatosis Association for all their help and advice that they have given my neice and her family I will be jumping out of a plane to raise as much money as possible - although I hear you ask why would anyone want to jump out of a plane that is not about to crash!
A little about the condition:
Neurofibromatosis is one of the most common genetic disorders, affecting 1 in every 2,500 people worldwide - some 25,000 in this country alone. It can affect any family, with no previous history of Neurofibromatosis, through gene mutation. It occurs in every racial and ethnic group and affects both sexes equally. AS YET THERE IS NO CURE!
